Wire Rope Parameter
SCIC supplies high-performance steel wire ropes engineered for critical applications across global industries. Manufactured from premium quality steel wires, our ropes are available in high tensile strength grades of 1770MPa, 1960MPa, and 2160MPa to meet diverse load and safety requirements.
We offer a comprehensive range of standard and engineered constructions—including 6x19, 6x36, 7x7, and 8x19 class ropes—in various diameters and with core options like fiber (FC) or independent wire rope core (IWRC). This ensures the perfect technical match for specific needs, from general lifting to severe-duty service in mining, marine, crane, and oilfield operations.
Every SCIC wire rope undergoes rigorous full testing and inspection throughout production, verifying compliance with international standards (such as ISO 2408) and guaranteeing documented performance for safety and reliability. Built for durability in challenging environments, SCIC wire ropes deliver trusted performance for hoisting, mooring, pulling, and suspension applications worldwide.

Annotation:
1. When corrosion is the primary reason for scrapping, galvanized steel wire ropes should be used.
2. In workplaces where the terminals of steel wire ropes cannot rotate freely or cannot be intertwined despite the presence of backlash force, steel wire ropes with the same direction of lay should be used.
