SCIC Grade 8 Master Link assemblies are made as per EN 1677-4 & DNV 2.7-1, with nickel chromium molybdenum manganese alloy steel per DIN 17115 standards; well designed / monitored flash butt welding & heat-treatment ensure Grade 8 master links mechanical properties including test force, breaking force, elongation & hardness.
Master Link Parameter
Design safety factor: 1:5, with proof force being 2.5 times WLL.
Charpy impact test value at -20oC: 42J min. (base material) and 27J min. (weld seam).
